Illmatic valittiin kaikkien aikojen parhaaksi rap-albumiksi!

New York -räppäri Nasin klassikkoalbumi “Illmatic” valittiin Billboardin toimesta kaikkien aikojen parhaaksi rap-albumiksi. Billboard julkaisi 11. heinäkuuta listansa sadasta kaikkien aikojen parhaimmasta rap-albumista.

Nas reagoi valintaan sosiaalisessa mediassa iloisesti.

“Kiitos, Billboardille ja ihmisille! Illmatic on numero ykkönen!”, Nas kirjoitti Instagramissa kuvakaappauksen kera.

Muita kymmenen parhaimman joukosta löytyviä albumeita olivat muun muassa Dr. Dren “The Chronic”, “Biggien “Life After Death”, 2Pacin “All Eyez On Me”, Snoop Doggin “Doggystyle” ja Eric B.:n & Rakimin “Paid In Full”.

Nas julkaisi “Illmatic”-albuminsa vuonna 1994, jonka julkaisusta tuli hiljattain täyteen 30 vuotta.
